Queensland WHS Requirements For Online White Card Training
In Queensland, general construction induction training is governed by the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld) and the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011 (Qld), administered by WorkSafe Queensland and the Office of Industrial Relations. Every worker who carries out construction work must hold general construction induction training before starting, and the person conducting the business or undertaking (PCBU) must sight evidence of it.
Queensland accepts training delivered by a Registered Training Organisation through a live, supervised virtual classroom. As in NSW, an unsupervised self-paced quiz is not acceptable — the trainer must be able to see you, verify your identity and assess you in real time. Our Queensland classes are delivered live over Zoom under The Careers Academy, RTO 46244, so the CPCWHS1001 Statement of Attainment you receive is nationally recognised and accepted across Queensland.
You can confirm the unit on the national register at training.gov.au, and WorkSafe Queensland publishes its construction induction requirements on its own site — both links appear further down this page.
