WorkSafe ACT Recognised
Live online White Card training for workers in Belconnen and across Australian Capital Territory. No classroom, no travel — just a qualified trainer, a Zoom link and your certificate the same day.
Anyone working on a construction site in Belconnen needs General Construction Induction Training (CPCWHS1001) — commonly called a White Card. That covers labourers, apprentices, tradespeople, traffic controllers, cleaners, machine operators and supervisors, along with owner builders applying for a council permit.
Rather than travelling to a classroom, you join a live class over Zoom from home or the office in Belconnen. The trainer works through the course with you, marks your assessment on the spot, and your certificate is issued the same day.
Your White Card is nationally recognised, so once certified in Belconnen you can work on sites anywhere in Australia.
Select a suitable course date from our online calendar and complete your booking to reserve your place.
You'll receive a confirmation email. One hour before your session a Zoom link and enrolment form is sent. Attend on a mobile, tablet or computer.
Join the live online class led by a qualified trainer. The session covers all required elements of General Construction Induction Training.

FAQs
Access Canberra is the ACT Government's service agency and it issues the physical ACT White Card. Once we email your CPCWHS1001 Statement of Attainment, you lodge it with Access Canberra — online or at a service centre — along with proof of identity. They verify the qualification and produce your card. There is a small government fee for card issuance that is separate from your course price.
The live online class runs for approximately six hours. Your Statement of Attainment is emailed the same day you complete and pass the class. Access Canberra processing then typically takes a few business days for a card, though timeframes vary — your Statement of Attainment is generally accepted on site in the meantime.
The White Card course runs online via a Zoom link sent to your email upon checkout. You can attend using a computer, mobile phone or tablet, and you don't need a Zoom account to join the course.
Yes, as long as it meets WorkSafe ACT requirements. Our course is run live over Zoom with a real trainer, which satisfies WorkSafe ACT standards for General Construction Induction (CPCWHS1001). Once you receive your Statement of Attainment you can use it to obtain your official ACT White Card through Access Canberra.
No. Because we are 100% online we train people across the ACT — Canberra, Belconnen, Tuggeranong, Gungahlin, Woden Valley and Weston Creek. As long as you are in the ACT (or planning to work there) with a reliable internet connection and suitable device, you can complete the course from home or work.
Monday to Saturday morning sessions cost $139 and evening sessions cost $154, while Sunday sessions are $169 for both morning and evening. We also guarantee to beat any advertised price for the same course by $10 — just let us know and we'll apply the discount. AfterPay is available at checkout.
The duration of the online webinar course is 6 hours.
You'll need a computer, mobile phone or tablet with a stable internet connection in a quiet, comfortable space, be at least 14 years old and able to read and write in English, and have 100 points of ID ready to show your trainer. You must also have a valid Unique Student Identifier (USI) — if you don't have one you can create it online in minutes with one form of ID. You'll also need basic PPE: a hi-vis vest, shirt or jacket, hard hat, ear plugs or ear muffs, and safety glasses or goggles (available from Bunnings for under $20). Please make sure you meet all of these requirements before booking, otherwise you may be refused entry and required to pay a fee to re-book.
Comprehensive CPCWHS1001 training covering all core safety requirements for construction work. The course also covers WHS documentation and reporting, responding to emergencies, fire safety and extinguisher use, safety signs and symbols, and the correct selection and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
You will receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry. We email it the same day once your live session and assessment are completed. You can then take or upload it to Access Canberra to obtain your physical WorkSafe ACT White Card.
